PATCH TEST POLICY (48 HOURS)

Client safety is extremely important at KK Beauty & Training.

A patch test must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to certain treatments to reduce the risk of allergic reactions.

Treatments requiring patch testing include:

• Lash Extensions 
• Lash Lift 
• Brow Lamination 
• Brow Tinting 
• Any treatment involving adhesives or chemical solutions

If a patch test has not been completed within the required timeframe, the treatment may need to be rescheduled or refused for safety reasons.

While patch testing significantly reduces the risk of an allergic reaction, it cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.

KK Beauty & Training cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where patch testing has been declined or aftercare advice has not been followed.

CLIENT CONSULTATION

All clients must complete a consultation form prior to receiving treatment.

Clients must disclose relevant information including:

• medical conditions 
• allergies 
• medications 
• pregnancy 
• previous reactions to beauty treatments

Providing incomplete or inaccurate information may affect treatment suitability.

KK Beauty & Training reserves the right to refuse treatment if it is considered unsafe or unsuitable.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Certain medical or skin conditions may prevent treatments from being safely carried out.

Examples include:

• eye infections 
• skin infections 
• open wounds 
• allergic reactions 
• recent cosmetic procedures

Treatments may be refused where contraindications are present in order to protect client safety.

TREATMENT RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Results from beauty treatments may vary depending on individual factors including:

• hair type 
• skin type 
• lifestyle 
• adherence to aftercare advice

While every effort is made to achieve the best possible results, outcomes cannot be guaranteed for every individual.

TRAINING COURSE POLICIES

Training courses provided by KK Beauty & Training are designed to deliver professional education and practical skills in beauty treatments.

Training is delivered in a private 1-1 learning environment allowing focused support and guidance.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Some courses require prior qualifications or experience in beauty treatments.

Students must ensure they meet the entry requirements stated on the course page before booking.

KK Beauty & Training reserves the right to refuse training if entry requirements are not met.

CERTIFICATION

Students who successfully complete training will receive an accredited certificate from KK Beauty & Training.

Students are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional insurance before carrying out treatments on members of the public.

KK Beauty & Training cannot accept responsibility for treatments carried out by students after completing training.

MODEL PATCH TEST POLICY

Models attending training courses must follow the same safety procedures as regular clients.

Where treatments involve adhesives, tinting or chemical products, a patch test must be completed at least 48 hours before the training session.

If a patch test has not been carried out, the treatment may not be performed during training.

Models must also complete consultation forms before treatment.

INSURANCE & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

KK Beauty & Training operates in accordance with industry standards and the safety guidelines recommended by Professional Beauty Direct.

All treatments and training follow professional procedures relating to hygiene, patch testing, consultation and contraindication checks.

BOOKING & DEPOSITS

Appointments and training courses must be booked in advance.

A deposit may be required to secure a booking.

Deposits are non-refundable.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

If an appointment or training date needs to be rescheduled, sufficient notice must be provided.

Failure to attend an appointment or training session without notice may result in the loss of deposit or booking fee.

REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of services and training provided, refunds are not available once treatments or training courses have taken place.

Training involves preparation time, reserved dates and learning materials.

For this reason:

• deposits are non-refundable 
• course payments are non-refundable once training has taken place

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

KK Beauty & Training reserves the right to refuse treatments or training where:

• health and safety concerns arise 
• policies are not followed 
• inappropriate behaviour occurs
